About Us

Since 2007, Eat2Gather has been organizing team-building events, culinary company outings, tastings, food walks, gastronomic experiences, and workshops for the corporate group market. Eat2Gather creates culinary experiences that touch, connect, and linger.

Eat2Gather distinguishes itself as a culinary agency with its own cooking studio and meeting location. The two floors in the national monument on Egelantiersgracht and Prinsengracht in Amsterdam have recently been completely renovated and furnished. A high-end location with an interior where you quickly feel at home and where we honor the history of the building but still meet the standards of a modern, multifunctional culinary & meeting location.

At the same time, Eat2Gather also realizes its culinary activities and events in Rotterdam & Utrecht or at another desired external location. The combination of a culinary organization agency and its own inspiring location in a special historic building makes Eat2Gather unique in its kind.

Passion for food and connection

Eat2Gather was founded in 2007 by owner Karien Olthof. Raised in an entrepreneurial family and shaped by her education at the Hotel Management School Maastricht, she gained broad experience in tourism, the advertising world, and PR & marketing. In Eat2Gather, she combined her passion for food and hospitality with her organizational talent and entrepreneurial mindset.

Her entrepreneurship was rewarded in 2009 with a finalist position for the Columbus Trophy, an encouragement award for young, successful entrepreneurs.

From this foundation, Eat2Gather developed into a specialist in culinary experiences that goes beyond mere inspiration, with the expertise and ability to create culinary activities and moments that truly work for teams and organizations.

Behind the scenes of Eat2Gather is a dedicated core team with a shared passion for food, hospitality, quality, and bringing people together. Together, we ensure that every concept is accurate in detail and every experience is seamlessly executed.

To achieve this, Eat2Gather works with a versatile and carefully built food network. From star chefs and workshop leaders to sommeliers and culinary specialists: each one a professional who understands their craft and contributes to the quality and experience of every workshop, package, and event.
