1. Moscow Mule
The Moscow Mule is rightly a classic, which, by the way, does not come from Russia, but was invented in 1941 by the American producers of a vodka and a ginger beer brand, in collaboration with a copper manufacturer. That's why you traditionally serve this delicious cocktail in the now well-known copper mug. Of course, it doesn't taste any less in a regular glass, but still... it looks extra hip this way, and the material keeps the drink colder for longer. A quick note about the name: Moscow naturally refers to the vodka (typically Russian) and mule is an old-fashioned term for mixed drinks with ginger, citrus fruit, and a strong spirit. This gives your cocktail a nice 'kick'.
