The new look seamlessly aligns with what Eat2Gather represents today: high-quality, substantive culinary experiences that go beyond a standard workshop or activity – while remaining accessible to every company and every team.
What once started as a culinary organization agency in Amsterdam organizing group activities has grown into an event agency for the corporate market with a large, atmospheric culinary location in a historic national monument on the Amsterdam canals. With multiple meeting rooms and a professional cooking studio, this location forms the heart of the organization.
Eat2Gather helps companies strengthen connection, inspiration, and collaboration within teams and with business relationships through activities such as cooking workshops, food walks, and culinary rallies. Additionally, the company organizes culinary experiences in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht, and on location as desired.
Not just an outing, but an experience that inspires and connects
Customers and partners no longer come just for an activity or outing. Over the years, they have come to find Eat2Gather for its expertise and ability to develop culinary experiences that truly work for organizations and within teams.
The workshops, tastings, and events are guided by professionals, each with their own culinary expertise. The concepts are accessible and inspiring: cooking experience or culinary knowledge is not necessary, involvement is key. Owner Karien Olthof says: “Food and drink literally and figuratively nourish. We believe that taste, story, and experience are powerful tools to bring teams closer together and support business objectives.”
The main pillars of Eat2Gather for organizing effective culinary activities are:
- strengthening team spirit
- creativity and collaboration
- relaxation and connection
- communication and understanding

Intersection of culinary craftsmanship and corporate events
Eat2Gather now operates at the intersection of event agency, culinary specialist, and experience partner for companies, DMCs, hotels, and event agencies. From years of experience, expertise, and a strong network of chefs and culinary partners, the company develops culinary workshops, activities, and tailor-made events for organizations and teams.
Additionally, PR and film production companies also find Eat2Gather. They use the cooking studio, for example, to present food brands, organize product launches, or conduct photoshoots and video recordings.
Unique: agency and own culinary location
Eat2Gather distinguishes itself as a culinary agency with its own cooking studio and meeting location. The two floors in the national monument on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam have recently been completely renovated and furnished according to the standards of a modern, multifunctional meeting location. It is not a standard cooking studio with cooking islands, but a characterful and contemporary space with an eight-meter-long bar, tasting room, and board and presentation rooms that together form an inspiring setting for business meetings. The spaces are designed for interaction, movement, and meeting, with much attention to atmosphere, energy, and high-quality culinary care.
At the same time, Eat2Gather also realizes its concepts at any desired external location. The combination of a culinary organization agency and its own inspiring location in a special historic building makes Eat2Gather unique in its kind.
Trends as a foundation, not as a side issue
The substantive strength of Eat2Gather lies in the integration of current developments within gastronomy and hospitality. No complicated food concepts, but recognizable culinary experiences where tradition, innovation, and surprise complement each other.
Themes that structurally recur include:
- classic techniques combined with contemporary food trends
- sustainability, plant-based options, and attention to food waste
- fusion and world cuisines
- mindfulness, eating cultures, and rituals
- craftsmanship and authenticity
- multi-sensory experience
- no & low alcohol optionally as a full part of the offer
Think, for example, of a culinary bike tour through the city, a cooking competition guided by a chef, an outdoor cooking experience in nature, or a tasting where classic and innovative flavors meet. As Eat2Gather describes it: from artisanal bitterballen to high-end tasting and everything in between.
A natural next step
The launch of the new website does not mark a change of course, but a logical next phase in the development of the company. In recent years, Eat2Gather has grown organically in expertise, network, offering, and business positioning. The renewed appearance now makes this development explicitly visible.
“At our core, we have always remained the same,” says Karien Olthof. “But we are increasingly realizing that there is only one organization that brings together gastronomy, hospitality, and team development in this way.”
As an extension of the experience, Eat2Gather has developed thematic culinary magazines that complement workshops, activities, and events, such as Asian Adventures, Sweet Temptation, and Dutch Highlights. These can be used in advance as an inspiring warm-up, but also afterward as a tangible memory. Thus, the experience is not only supported but also extended, allowing the taste and memory to linger for a long time.
